It’s my gorgeous sister’s birthday today, so I decided to make her a personal, Klimt-inspired card and jazz up the AusPost mailing box with some serviette decoupage.

Found this photo in my art wish-list folder and can’t remember why I wanted it. Glad I didn’t rush to buy it, since I’d probably have used it once and then let it gather dust. Saved myself $90—yay! Now to figure out what artistic treat I can get with that saved cash!

 

2026 is being good to me. Sure, I don’t have everything I want, but I do have everything I need, and that’s more than many people can say. I’m grateful to wake up each morning with another day ahead of me to go about as I choose. I’m lucky, blessed, loved, supported. I am happy.

 

We have several Bokashi bins on the go, and this one is ready to be sealed for four to six weeks. Once it’s done, we’ll have nutrient-rich soil conditioner to add to our compost bin, along with liquid fertilizer produced along the way.

 

This is so true. Enjoy the little things, because if we wait for the big moments to get excited, they might never come, and we’ll miss out on countless happy experiences.

 

Babysitting this little one for a friend—she’s absolutely beautiful! I reckon I could make one myself—how hard could it be?

 

Up early and off to the eco markets - shopping for fresh ingredients.

In the afternoon we made the pasta

we nibbled on the snacks

and drank the wine (lots of drinking of the wine)

Then we ate the sinfully delicious meal we had all prepped.

An absolutely fabulous time with a bunch of incredible women!

 

In just over two weeks, I’ll be twirling my toes by the pool, perhaps with a piña colada in hand.  Not that I'm counting.

 

....but she's my little weirdo and I love her to bits!

 

It's that time of year again - I'll cheer the Bunnies for you.
