Late at night is when my mind finally unwinds from the daily grind, and my focus becomes sharp. I think I might be a vampire or something.

Today's "Day" - International Typewriter Day
June 23, the anniversary of the granting of a patent to American inventor Christopher Latham Sholes in 1868 is celebrated around the world as Typewriter Day. So, take out your old typewriter from the attic, dust it and get started on your magnum opus!
I very much like the idea of writing with a typewriter, but my reality is that I type fast and I make a lot of mistakes that are permanently inked. No backspacing to erase on a typewriter *sigh*

Isn't it simply perfect? I love the Winter sky - so much more depth of colour than a Summer sky.
Winter solstice in Australia
Our shortest day of the year - which means we are heading toward Summer again and another half a year wait (give or take) until Autumn is back with us.
Books or TV - or maybe both (for balance)
Well, I have a big TV and a huge library of books (all packed away in boxes at the moment *sigh*) - so I guess that makes me extraordinarily ordinary?

...that is the one and only mushroom pun I know. But look how lovely they are—they were everywhere. The rain really does have a way of bringing out nature's beauty.

I don't think there's an arty-crafty person alive on this planet who would use up all the craft supplies they have before buying more. I's just not in our DNA.
